Happy International Nurses Day!

Today we mark International Nurses Day, and we are celebrating the role of the Research Nurse.
We asked some of the wonderful Research Nurses working across the Kent, Surrey and Sussex region what they love about their job.
Jo-Anne Taylor, who was recently appointed Head of Research at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, has had a long and successful career in research nursing, having supported and delivered over 35 clinical research trials. She said:
“It is very positive being able to offer your patients innovative clinical treatments that they wouldn’t normally get.”
